Flooding Disaster Assistance Center

At the Disaster Assistance Center, located at the Gila County Fairgrounds, residents can connect with recovery services, get information, and help to begin the recovery process. Residents in need of information on sheltering and recovery please contact the call center

Salvation Army Service Center

The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services is providing relief to survivors and first responders affected by the recent devastating flooding in the Globe-Miami area and is asking for the public’s help in supporting their neighbors in need. The Salvation Army will provide emotional and spiritual care, financial assistance, and supplies and will accept in-kind donations at the Disaster Assistance Center at the Fairgrounds as listed above.

High Desert Humane Society

In the wake of the recent flooding, we want to do everything we can to support our community — both two-legged and four-legged friends alike. 

To help those in need, the High Desert Humane Society's Dog & Cat Shelter will be open on the following days to distribute free dog food, cat food, and human food to anyone affected:

  • Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday
  • 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM each day
  • Location: Dog & Cat Shelter 700 W. Hackney Ave. (above the cemetery) 928-200-3611

If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, please come by during these hours — no questions asked. We are here for our neighbors, because community means caring for one another.

Red Cross volunteers are on the ground in Globe and Miami supporting families impacted by recent flooding. Two evacuation shelters for those affected:

  • Lee Kornegay Middle School – 4635 Railroad Ave, Miami
  • High Desert Middle School – 4000 High Desert Dr, Globe

  • If you have flood damage and would like to have your home assessed, please call the Miami Town Hall to be added to the assessment list at 928-473-4403.
  • If a car, truck or propane tank has ended up on your property (commercial or residential) call Tony Manfredi, Community Development Department Director at (928) 961-0468.
  • GILA COUNTY- Residents can contact the call center at (928) 402-8888 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m .each day until further notice. Messages left will be returned by call center staff as soon as possible.

  • Antler Ridge Pressure Washing 

    • Will be offering free clean up and pressure washing to all local business and residents affected by the floods. No charge whatsoever! All pressure wash jobs outside Globe Miami, 50% of sales will be donated to a local Globe Miami fund for those in need that have suffered from the floods.
  • East Valley Materials LLC

    • We own a materials company and would like to extend an offer with clean up efforts we have tractors and dump trailers available.  We can offer trailer relocation, some towing services, tractor work and trash removal and clean up services. We also have a water trailer and can help wash down roads or clean streets up if the city allows us to aid in that as well. They are also accepting donations to help with our fuel costs or dump fees.
